OTF is a small business owned and operated by me, Erika. Although I recently started quilting for the public, I have experience longarm quilting for several years at a local quilt store. I started out self-taught before being certified on two brands of longarms; learning from some of the best educators in the industry. This fun new skill quickly turned into a passion as I learned how to use the quilting process to make tops come to life.  I never thought one day I would be able to purchase my own longarm and help others accomplish their quilting goals, but here I am.

Why "Off The Frame"? I get this question often and the story goes like this: I wanted something different and fun. I racked my brain for a while trying to come up with a catchy name, every time I thought I had one, someone already had it or it just wasn't quite "the one". One day I finished a quilt and I sent a friend a text with a picture and said "look what I just took off the frame!". That was it! OTF was born!

 

Taking a quilt off the frame isn't just an action - it's a feeling!  A feeling of accomplishment, a feeling of satisfaction, a feeling of love.
